Mineral Magnesium Hydroxide is made from Brucite stone as raw material. Based on the grade and whiteness of the raw Brucite, it is crushed, selected, and mixed. Then, it is processed into powder with different MgO content and particle size by equipment such as Raymond miller, ring roller miller, vertical miller, and Jet miller as needed. It is recommended to use the products with MgO content below 60%, which is used as a flame retardant for building panels such as aluminum-plastic panels, sewage treatment, flue gas desulfurization, magnesium fertilizer, etc. Brucite with MgO content over 62% and high whiteness which can be processed into micro powders with different particle sizes such as D50:3-4um, 2-3um, 1.5um, 1.0um, etc. as low smoke halogen-free magnesium hydroxide flame retardants. At the same time, it can be modified according to customer needs, making it more suitable for terminal applications.
